aimqs was established in march 1996, with associated offices in Johannesburg and Durban. The practice organically expanded with an addition of the Pietermaritzburg branch office in 2004. The practice traded previously under the style of Ayob Ismail and Mahomedy cc Quantity Surveyors. aimqs provides the full range of quantity surveying, cost planning and project cost management services as well as specialist client specific services.

The joint experience of the Members of aimqs encompass approximately 75 years in the construction industry and in this period we have been involved in a broad range of projects incorporating Shopping Centres, Educational Buildings, Community Centres, Industrial Buildings, Warehouses, Housing Projects, Hotels, Hospitals, Clinics, Police Stations, Libraries and Religious Centres.
